I found this assignment very interesting. This was the 1st time I ever done anything like this before. We could as teachers totally use this to our advantage as a teaching tool. I do think that it would be easier for older kids then the younger ones. One way we could use this is have the students introduce themselves to the class. A recap of there life or introduce there families to our class. In today society we no longer have a "regular family". Now a days children are raised by just a mother, or a father, or grandparents, or even have same sex parents. Another example is a teacher can recorder a lecture or notes. Some times teachers get sick or have an emergency so if they have a recorded lecture a substitute can easily play it and the teacher doesn't loose there teaching day just because of there emergency.

Glogster and Word Cloud
Working on these assignments i found very interesting. It so cool how many things you can do online on different websites. How might you use these programs in a classroom? We as teachers can definitely put these types of websites to use. The word cloud is a good way for students to express there words. For example a word bank. The glogster website i found more fun. This website i think could really help students express there creative side. They could created a story book with pictures. What ages would be
appropriate? I think maybe 12yrs or older would be the best age group for these type of programs.
Are these programs easier or more complicated than using Word and Paint (or other graphic software) to create a poster? I actually found that the websites were easier. Most definitely the word cloud was easier for me. But after i was able to finally log on to glogster i found working around the website really easy. I found it more interactive then word or paint but it wasn't more or less complicated.
